Shilu Kumari – Biography
Shilu Kumari was born on 15 June 1996 in Village Bairan, Loharu Tehsil, Bhiwani District, Haryana. Her father’s name is Krishan Kumar, who is a farmer by profession. She belongs to a simple agricultural family and has two sisters and one brother. The values of hard work, simplicity, and strong moral upbringing have played a significant role in shaping her personality.
Sheelu Kumari is a well-educated, dedicated, and socially committed individual. She has a deep inclination towards working for the welfare of humanity and firmly believes that true social progress is achieved through compassion, equality, and service.
Academically, she holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry, along with professional qualifications of B.Ed. and LLB. At present, she is working as a teacher, actively contributing to the intellectual, moral, and overall development of students.
She was married to Pritam Damkora on 26 November 2017. She is blessed with a son, born on 21 December 2019.
Sheelu Kumari is the Founder President of Manavta Ek Dharam Foundation. Under her visionary leadership, the organization has been consistently working in the fields of education, social awareness, and humanitarian service. The foundation actively supports national initiatives such as “Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao” by providing free coaching, guidance, and assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds, especially girls.
The belief “Humanity is the greatest religion” is not merely a thought for her, but a way of life. She strongly believes that beyond all religions, castes, and social divisions, the highest duty of a human being is to serve humanity. This philosophy guides her continuous efforts in social welfare, education, blood donation, and awareness programs.
Her life motto reflects her deep commitment to human service:
“Blood donation while alive, body donation after death.”
With her simplicity, sensitivity, and strong leadership qualities, Sheelu Kumari continues to inspire society, especially women and youth, to work selflessly for education, equality, and humanity.
